Use this section for installing AI Read Aloud, setting up your API key, reading selected text, changing voices, customizing instructions, and removing the app.

Open Settings, choose OpenAI or xAI, add your API key, then pick a voice, reading speed, and instructions.
Highlight text, press the keyboard shortcut, and use the floating panel to stop, change voice, or adjust speed while listening. If Apple Speak Selection uses the same shortcut, AI Read Aloud Settings helps point you to the right place in System Settings to turn it off or change it.
Quit the app, remove any saved API key from Settings if desired, then delete AI Read Aloud from Applications.
AI Read Aloud is currently a Mac app.
You need an OpenAI or xAI account with an API key. Add the API key in Settings before the first read.
The permission lets AI Read Aloud read the text you selected when you press the shortcut. Only the selected text is used.
Your API key is saved securely on your Mac. You can remove or replace it from Settings.
No. AI Read Aloud sends only the text you choose to read.

Choose the service you prefer or already have an API key for. AI Read Aloud supports both OpenAI and xAI from Settings.
Yes. The floating panel includes voice and speed controls, plus a Stop button.
Yes. You can use the default text-to-speech instructions, write your own instructions for how the text should be read, or restore the default instructions from Settings.
Use the Stop button in the floating panel or choose Stop from the menu bar.
AI Read Aloud is designed for macOS and lives in the menu bar for quick access.
Option-Escape is the default shortcut. You can choose a different shortcut from Settings. If you have Apple Speak Selection enabled with the same shortcut, turn it off or change it in System Settings > Accessibility > Spoken Content. AI Read Aloud Settings includes guidance for opening the right Mac settings area.
The playback panel appears while reading so you can stop, change voice, or adjust speed without opening a full window.

Use this section for installing Bookings Glance, connecting Wix, understanding filters and widgets, managing devices, and removing access.
Install Bookings Glance on the device you want to use, then connect it to your Wix site from the Bookings Glance page in Wix.
Open Wix, choose the site, go to Apps > Bookings Glance, then use the link, QR code, or one-time code shown there.
Check upcoming bookings, filter by staff or service, switch connected sites, set staff colors, and choose widget details.
Remove connected devices from Wix if needed, delete the app from each device, and remove any widgets you no longer want.
Bookings Glance works on Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and widgets. The Wix page is used to connect and manage devices.
Yes. After each site is connected, you can switch between saved sites in the app.
A personal staff view shows only the bookings that staff member is allowed to see. Full-site views are intended for owners and administrators.
You can see upcoming bookings with times, services, staff members, clients, locations, capacity details where available, and other schedule information.
Use filters to narrow the schedule by service, staff member, location, availability, blocked time, other calendar events, and date range.
Yes. Staff colors and site preferences are shared across your connected Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and widgets.
Yes. In the app, choose whether widgets show client names, staff names, locations, end times, and appearance options.

Widgets show upcoming bookings with the details you choose in the app. Sign in and connect a Wix site first.
Check the widget detail settings in the app, including client name, staff name, location, end time, appearance, and time zone.
Open the Bookings Glance page in Wix and remove the device that should no longer have access.
Open the app, choose the connected site, and remove it from the app settings. You can also remove device access from Wix.
Remove connected devices from Wix if needed, delete the app from each device, and remove any widgets from your Home Screen, Lock Screen, desktop, or widget areas.
The removed device can no longer refresh booking information for that Wix site. Reconnect it from Wix if you want to use it again later.
AI Read Aloud settings live on the Mac. Bookings Glance site and device access can be managed in the app and in Wix.
